Once again, another lazy day. I woke up a little late this morning, ate breakfast and relaxed with the family until lunch. After lunch, we relaxed again, watching some of the Brazil-Venezuela soccer game. We then went to Asia’s house to watch a movie, Ciudad de Dios. This is a Brazilian movie, and tells the story of growing up in a certain district of Rio de Janeiro. What I thought was really cool was that the movie was based on a real story.
After dinner, we went over to Jina’s house to watch another movie. We ended up watching Scarface, an American classic. It was great to relax with the whole group for one of the last times before we all go back to the United States.
All in all, I’ve had a great time in Peru. Being here has made me realize that life has been really stress-free and fun. It’s going to be sad to leave this life and have to go back to a working life in the United States.
